With just over a month left in 2023, Saputo has managed to announce one more exciting piece of news. The cheesemaker revealed it has been named one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers by Mediacorp Canada, one of the country’s largest publishers of employment periodicals.
“At Saputo, our people are at the heart of everything we do,” said Gaétane Wagner, Chief Human Resources Officer at Saputo. “We remain deeply committed to forging a diverse and stimulating work environment where our employees feel empowered and valued.”
The designation recognizes Canadian employers that are implementing forward-thinking human resources policies and leading their industries in offering exceptional places to work, according to a release.
To select the winners, Mediacorp editors graded employers on eight rigorous criteria: Physical Workplace; Work Atmosphere and Social; Health, Financial, and Family Benefits; Vacation and Time Off; Employee Communications; Performance Management; Training and Skills Development; and Community Involvement.
Moving forward, Saputo will continue to identify and invest in new opportunities for its associates. This includes mental health training to all managers and a global volunteer time-off policy. The company strives to lead the way in creating an environment for its teams that is accessible, engaging, and unbiased.
