Sugar Bowl Bakery Showcases Brand-New Packaging Design at IDDBA 2022; Robyn Defina Shares

As we enter June and prepare for the summer season, there are times when a refresh would help bring on a sense of new beginnings. Sugar Bowl Bakery is doing just that with the unveiling of its new packaging. The minority-owned bakery on a mission recently announced the final stage of its branding overhaul, debuting a new design that is fresh, modern, and pays homage to Sugar Bowl Bakery’s joyful persona via fun illustrations and vibrant colors.

Beloved for its madeleines and palmiers for over 35 years, the bakery unveiled a new website last fall, and its newly revamped packaging completes its design update. Sugar Bowl Bakery’s customers will get a first look at the new packaging at the International Deli Dairy Bakery Association (IDDBA) at booth #2254.

The new packaging will begin rolling out to stores nationwide this month, and can already be spotted on shelves in select Costco stores.

According to the release, Sugar Bowl Bakery creates delicious, perfectly portioned baked goods with no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. Its tasty, premium treats are available at a price point that is accessible to the everyday consumer, and with ingredients you can pronounce, Sugar Bowl Bakery’s products are a sweet, guilt-free treat with less than 150 calories each and less than 10 g of sugar per serving.

Its core offerings include madeleines, palmiers, brownie bites, Duet Bites®, and fritters. Seasonally, the company offers festive items like mango cakes, pumpkin madeleines, gingerbread bites, tropical pineapple cake bites, and more.
