TreeHouse Foods recently announced Shay Braun, Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, will be leaving the company effective April 30, 2021. In the interim, Craig McCutcheon, the current Senior Vice President of Operations, will be stepping in to fulfill Braun’s responsibilities.
McCutcheon first joined TreeHouse in 2018. Currently, he oversees the company’s manufacturing and warehousing operations. According to the release, he will expand his responsibilities to include supply chain and food safety, which were previously overseen by Braun.
During this interim period, McCutcheon will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer, Steve Oakland.
Braun will be stepping down from his position as COO and Senior Vice President to assume the role of President of Select Milk. The company plans to retain an outside firm to assist in the search for a permanent replacement. Braun has been with the company for over five years, as noted on his LinkedIn.
President and CEO Oakland commented on the upcoming executive transition.
“I want to thank Shay for his many contributions to TreeHouse as we have worked to successfully transform our business over the last several years,” said Oakland. “We are fortunate to have a deep and talented team, and I am confident that under the leadership of Craig and the rest of our management team, we will continue to successfully implement our plans to drive growth and value as we seamlessly navigate this transition.”
This news comes after the company’s recent wave of leadership changes.
In addition to adding new Chiefs to its C-suite roster, TreeHouse Foods has also been bolstering its Board of Directors with a new Board Chair and members and additions.
Congratulations all around as Shay Braun and Craig McCutcheon take their next steps.
