TreeHouse Foods is strengthening its leadership team, appointing Patrick O’Donnell to the position of Vice President and Controller, in which he will serve as the bakery giant’s Principal Accounting Officer. He is succeeding John P. Waldron and will take over responsibility for direct oversight of analysis, interpretation, and presentation of financial statements. O’Donnell will also lead the corporate and technical accounting groups to drive accounting consistency.
Prior to joining TreeHouse Foods’ team in 2017, O’Donnell spent more than 15 years in the audit practice at PriceWaterHouse Coopers, serving both public and private multinational corporations in the consumer and industrial markets, according to a press release.
Upon joining TreeHouse in 2017, he served as Senior Director, Assistant Corporate Controller, before being promoted to Senior Director, Finance and Head of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis in March of 2019.
O’Donnell graduated from Marquette University with a degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive in Illinois and Wisconsin).
In his new role as the Vice President and Controller, O’Donnell will report directly to William J. Kelley Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
