The foodservice distributor is flexing its retail might with the opening of its newest location. Marking St. George, Utah, as its 88th location in the continental United States, US Foods recently announced the emergence of a new CHEF’STORE.
“We are excited to expand our CHEF’STORE footprint in the great state of Utah,” said Irfan Badibanga, President, CHEF’STORE. “St. George is a blossoming city with a vibrant restaurant and culinary scene, and we look forward to supporting the community’s culinary needs with restaurant-quality products at competitive prices.”
The new location, which is set to open in February 2023, is the second one in the Utah market and will seek to provide a one-stop shop for foodservice operators, food industry professionals, and at-home chefs.
This 20,000-square-foot, built-to-suit location will offer more than 7,000 restaurant-quality products at competitive prices. According to a press release, shoppers will have access to a vast selection of fresh produce and more.
US Foods’ expansion comes shortly after its appointment of Badibanga as CHEF’STORE President.
